Job description

The Product Engineer is responsible for supporting the development, technical validation, and lifecycle management of products within the PowerSolution portfolio, including energy storage and related solutions. The role provides technical expertise to ensure products meet customer requirements, comply with industry standards, and are optimized for performance, manufacturability, and cost.​

  • Design, develop, and optimize products and systems across the PowerSolution product portfolio, including modules, packs, and system integration components;

  • Collaborate within a team to translate customer requirements into feasible solutions;

  • Support technical proposals and pre-sales activities by providing specifications, feasibility studies, and system configurations;

  • Conduct testing, validation, and performance analysis of products and components;

  • Provide technical guidance for integration with power electronics, inverters, and other system elements;

  • Develop technical documentation, datasheets, and application notes to support internal and external stakeholders;

  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for product and system issues;

  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards (IEC, UL, ISO, etc.);

  • Interface with suppliers and partners for material selection, manufacturability, and cost optimization;

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and design updates based on field feedback and evolving customer requirements;

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive solutions, including BESS and other energy storage technologies.

Personality requirements

Experience requirements: 

  • Minimum 2years of Experience in energy storage, battery systems, or related power solutions;

  • Knowledge of system-level integration for energy storage and power systems;

  • Experience with product testing, validation, and lifecycle management;

  • Familiarity with relevant safety and industry standards;

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills;

  • Technical documentation skill

  • Experience supporting technical sales or business development is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with relevant safety and industry standards is an advantage

​Certificates requirement:

  • §22 or §23 for HV is an advantage​

Company description

InoBat is a Slovakia-based company established in January 2019 aiming to create an R&D cluster and accelerator focusing on the development of battery solutions in the energy and e-mobility sectors. InoBat develops technologies with international partners looking to expand their global reach to the European continent in general, especially Central and Eastern Europe.

InoBat Auto, one of its flagship projects, is a Slovak battery production and R&D company. Together with its technological partner Wildcat Discovery Technologies, its aim is to build the first vehicle lithium-ion battery production line and research center in Slovakia.
