We are seeking a talented IT Support Specialist to join our team. If you are passionate about technology, problem-solving, and providing excellent customer service, we want to hear from you. 

Job description

  • Providing first-line technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly and efficiently 

  • Diagnosing and troubleshoot technical issues remotely or in person 

  • Installing new software and hardware components 

  • Diagnosing and solving infrastructure problems, developing and implementing corrective solutions 

  • Asset management - responsible for the daily and long-term hardware management within the organization 

  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of IT assets and track equipment assignments 

  • Regular security checks, evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary standards 

  • Assisting with network administration tasks 

  • Assisting employees with IT-related problems, including account setup, password resets, and access issues 

  • Performing regular maintenance tasks, including software updates, antivirus scans, and system optimizations 

  • Installing, configuring, and upgrading computer systems and peripherals 

  • Resolving all issues coworkers have with their IT systems and software 

  • Educating coworkers about security and best practices for computer usage 

  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our systems and infrastructure. (Sharepoint, Office 365, Exchange, Teams, Windows Server …. ) 

  • Implementing and enforcing security best practices to protect company data and systems 

  • Ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding for employees 

  • Communicating with suppliers and service centers  

  • Creating and updating technical documentation, including user guides and procedures 

  • Working closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide appropriate solutions 

  • In addition to the tasks mentioned above, other activities and responsibilities may be defined individually
